Come along and join us in this exciting and creative art workshop for children aged 5 to 12. Lead by Japanese illustrator/artist Kaho Kojima this participatory workshop will offer a number of fun activities including Halloween origami and kamishibai making workshops. Younger and older Hafus are also welfd to join this friendly family art event at Bodhi Gallery. The artwork produced during the workshop will form part of the exhibition too! This is a rare opportunity to allow your children to express their thoughts within a group with people from similar backgrounds. Other Hafus will participate and assist children in completing their work. This is a rare opportunity to link up Hafu children, their parents and other Hafu ‘grownups’ and exchange similar experiences, which should prove exciting and insightful.
Have fun making your very own Halloween origamis from pumpkins and ghosts to even cats and witches.
Create a piece of story about your family, which can include your idea of being in an culturally mixed family. Deliver your story to the rest of the group with your masterpiece.
